FLINTA* is a German abbreviation that stands for "Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, nichtbinäre, trans und agender Personen", meaning women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people. The asterisk represents all non-binary gender identities.

Why this gathering?

Over the past years, we (Christa + Alex) have worked with many individuals who dedicate their energy to driving social, ecological, economic and systemic transformation. Again and again, we witnessed how changemakers, despite (and sometimes because of) their passion and commitment, face strong resistance, isolation, and often exhaustion – and we see this resistance even stronger for FLINTA* people. Many of them are close to burnout – or have already experienced it.

These patterns that we hear from people deeply resonates, as we have gone through periods where carrying the “torch of change” felt really heavy and lonely – having been close to or in Alex’s case experiencing burnout on that path. At the same time, it also ignites our fire, as we know that continuing these efforts will be essential if we want to support social and economic transformation.

Therefore, our motivation and passion is to find ways to strengthen, connect and empower those who are driving the needed transformation – and do this in a way that includes taking care of and regenerating ourselves.

With this lab series, we want to create exactly such a space: a brave (incl. safe(r)), empowering environment where FLINTA* changemakers feel seen, can recharge, connect, and co-create ideas for regeneration and more sustainable impact.

In the first FLINTA* Game Changer Labs in October 2025 and January 2026, something meaningful began.

Participants shared how powerful it was to:

  • meet others who are questioning dominant ways of working and living
  • feel seen and heard without needing to perform or explain themselves
  • be part of a space that prioritised care, vulnerability, and depth
  • experience connection without pressure to produce outcomes

What emerged was not a project, but the beginning of a community.

This third lab is an invitation to return or join, deepen, and continue letting that community take shape.

As we enter the Year of the Fire Horse — a time often associated with intensity, movement, and acceleration — this gathering asks the important question:

How do we nurture our fire in a way that doesn’t burn us out, but sustains us?

We are convinced: It is not by hustling more, but by staying connected — to ourselves, to each other, and to shared intentions of care. We invite you to explore this more concretely with us on 15 April.

What to expect

This lab is held as an intimate, carefully facilitated circle (max. 20 participants), building on the experience and learnings of Lab #1 and #2, with a continued focus on embodiment, presence, and collective care:

Showing up in a different way

You are invited to show up as you are, not as who you think you should be. This is a space where honesty, uncertainty, and tenderness are welcome.

Somatic exercises

We will continue to work with somatic exercises, listening to the wisdom in your body. The practices are gentle, guided, and accessible — no prior experience needed.

Talking circle & collective sensing

We will again practice deep listening — without fixing, advising, or rushing toward solutions. From this place of connection, we’ll sense together: what this community needs now, how we can nourish collective care as FLINTA* change makers, what wants to emerge next — without forcing it.

Celebration, food & movement

We’ll prepare and share some delicious snacks, move, and celebrate. Joy, nourishment, and movement are not extras — they are essential parts of how this community is being shaped.

Who this is for

This gathering is for FLINTA* people who:

  • Took part in any previous Lab session and want to continue the journey and/or feel called to join a community rooted in care, presence, and honest connection
  • Are engaged in change-making work (formal or informa, be it in ‘traditional’ businesses, impact or social businesses, NGOs, civil society or as a freelancer or business owner yourself) and need spaces that sustain rather than drain
  • Value being together without pressure to perform, decide, or act

You do not need to:

  • have been part of Lab #1 or #2
  • know what this community will become
  • bring solutions, strategies, or plans

Curiosity and willingness to show up are more than enough.

Why join now?

FLINTA* Game Changer Lab #3 is part of a sequence of gatherings that allow this community to form over time — with space for waves of intensity, rest, and return.

You are welcome to join whether this is your first time or a continuation.

Places are limited to keep the space intimate and held.

Joining now means:

  • stepping into the next phase of something already alive
  • feeling the power of relationship and group care (vs. hustling in isolation)
  • contributing to co-shaping a community that is emerging slowly, intentionally, and together
